Wright Surgery Center (WSC) gastroenterologists are now using two new state-of-the-art Olympus GI endoscopes for performing colonoscopies (lower endoscopy) and upper endoscopies in the WSC's GI suite. The scopes provide high definition images of bodily structures that are normally difficult to distinguish, such as fine capillary patterns and mucous membranes.
The surgeons also began using Provation MD software, which provides automatic data tracking, improves documentation and enhances patient safety through quality improvement.
